In addition to the language directed at emergency responders, the bill also increases protections for healthcare providers and teachers assaulted on the job, requires employers to disclose a position’s general wage range and benefits in job listings, prohibits the inclusion of tips as part of a wage calculation for the purpose of meeting the minimum wage requirements at cannabis establishments and establishes a review standard for when tenured public school teachers are terminated.
